Privacy policy

This document explains what personal data is processed when you visit lainds.com or book a consultation, for what purpose, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights. It is written against what the site actually does, not from a template.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Health Care Provider S.A.C., trading as Lain-DS, with offices in San Borja, Lima, Peru.
For anything concerning your personal data, including exercising your rights, write to team@lainds.com.
2. What we process and why
The site is mainly informational. There is one point where you give us data voluntarily —booking a consultation— and several where technical data is collected automatically.

We do not ask for identity documents, banking details or sensitive data, and the site has no sign-up or user area.
3. Legal basis
We process your data with your consent, given when you voluntarily complete a consultation booking, and on legitimate interest for the technical data needed to operate the site securely. All of it under Law No. 29733, Peru's Personal Data Protection Law, and its regulations.
4. Who else is involved
We do not sell or trade your data. We do rely on providers that process it on our behalf, each with its own policy:

These providers run servers outside Peru, so there is a cross-border flow of data to jurisdictions such as the United States and Brazil. By using the site or booking a consultation, you accept that transfer.
5. Cookies and browser storage
This is everything the site stores in your browser:

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics by installing its opt-out add-on. The site still works with cookies blocked; it will simply forget your language.
6. How long we keep data
Consultation data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal obligations or handle claims. Statistical data is retained in aggregate according to the Google Analytics configuration. If you ask for deletion, we act on it unless a rule requires us to retain it.
7. Your rights
Law 29733 grants you the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection —the so-called ARCO rights— as well as the rights to information and to withdraw consent.
To exercise them, write to team@lainds.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We reply within the statutory deadlines. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may turn to the National Authority for Personal Data Protection at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
8. Minors
The site is aimed at organisations and professionals. It is not intended for minors and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Security
The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information. No system is infallible, but we limit exposure by not collecting more data than necessary.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change the site's tooling or how we handle data, we will update this document and the date in the header. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
